Bristol Vocal Tuition was founded in 2009 by professional vocalist & songwriter Victoria Klewin. Victoria is very much a working singer, regularly performing at venues and jazz clubs internationally, recording for commercial sessions (BBC, Body Shop, Pizza Express, TED, Channel 4) and touring as a vocalist with soul act Hannah Williams & The Affirmations (as sampled on JAY-Z's 4:44). She has released several EP's and an album of her own material and collaborated on countless other releases as a songwriter. Originally classically trained, Victoria later studied Music at the once radical and groundbreaking Dartington College of Arts, where she gained a first class Honours degree and was exposed mainly to Estill-based training. Since graduating in 2008, she has established herself in Bristol as a prominent performer, educator and vocal consultant to record labels and management agencies alike. More recently, she has trained with Dane Chalfin, a top UK vocal coach, researcher, and former president of the British Voice Association. His 'primal voice' work has greatly informed and inspired Victoria's multi-disciplined approach to coaching. She has a wealth of experience coaching children, young people and adults, including those with special educational needs.
